Why These Camps Matter?
Diabetes in Pakistan
Diabetes is a growing health challenge in Pakistan. Early detection, regular monitoring, and proper education are crucial to prevent serious complications.
Preventable Complications
Without proper care and monitoring, diabetes can lead to serious health complications:
- Vision loss and eye complications
- Kidney disease and failure
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Cardiovascular problems
- Nerve damage (neuropathy)
- Increased infection risk
Our camps make quality diabetes care accessible to those who need it most, helping prevent these complications through early detection and proper management.

Family-Based Treatment Supporter Program
Our DOTS observation therapy trains each patient's family member to monitor diet control, exercise, and medication regime. After three months, HbA1c is repeated to track the patient's response to AIMS community-based diabetes care. This approach has resulted in 34% improvement in glycemic levels through proper nutrition guidance and medications.
